Worship, forgiveness, reconciliation and peace

My how these four aspects of our Christian faith are tied together. Let’s take a closer look.
Everyone wants peace in their life. Not just with those around them but a peace that is inside. Interestingly enough, when it is from within it is not dependent upon outward circumstances. How does a person get such a peace?
This type of peace comes from God. It is offered to anyone and everyone who will receive it. It is a gift of God with contingencies.  He sets the perimeters concerning who can have it. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, call upon His name, agree with God; you are unclean, a sinner deserving of condemnation. Then and only then can you have access to His peace.
Now you are reconciled to God.He (Jesus) will come and live in your heart. Your sins and there consequences are forgiven and removed. Now He literally lives with us on a daily basis. He is our comforter, teacher and guide. He walks with is and talks with us through life.
He wants and deserves more than just being thought of as our “get out of Hell free” card. He desires to be Lord of our entire life. Why would we not? After all He is God and knows all things. That means every thought, doubt, fear and desire. He knows what is best for you.
Ever wonder why you go thru a worship meeting and get very little out of it? Most likely; pride. It hinders His Lordship, which in turn hinders our ability to worship in a deep & meaningful way. To connect deeply and intimately in worship, we must allow Him to be Lord in every area if our life.
Only a submissive, humble, obedient heart can worship in Spirit and Truth. This type of worship casts aside all pretense, agenda and hypocrisy. You hold the key. Turn loose completely of your life and give Him full control. Don’t let pride keep you from experiencing His Peace.
